Current Projects in Development

Untitled Baja Survival Thriller — Feature Film

Genre: Survival Thriller | Status: Development | Setting: Baja California Sur, Mexico

Two people. One of the most remote coastlines in North America. A situation neither of them chose and neither of them can escape alone. When physical survival requires trusting someone you have every reason not to trust, the real question is not whether you survive — it is who you become in the process.

This project uses the unique geography of the Baja California peninsula — its isolation, its dual coastline, its border between the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez — as both setting and metaphor. The landscape is a character. The story could only happen here.

Untitled Expat Limited Series — Television

Genre: Drama / Thriller | Format: Limited Series (6 episodes) | Status: Concept Development

What happens to people who voluntarily leave their country, their identity, and their past — and try to build something new in a place where the rules are different? The expatriate experience in Latin America is one of the richest and least examined territories in American television.

This project follows four characters who chose Baja California for four completely different reasons, whose lives intersect in ways none of them anticipated, and who are each forced to reckon with what they were actually running from.

Untitled Sea of Cortez Thriller — Feature Film

Genre: Contained Thriller | Status: Outline | Setting: Sea of Cortez, Baja California Sur

A contained thriller set almost entirely on the water. Three characters, a boat, and a secret that changes what survival means for all of them. Think Knife in the Water meets The Deep Blue Sea — intimate, pressurized, and psychologically ruthless.

Writing Samples & Development Inquiries

Beau does not post full scripts publicly. For producers, directors, and development executives interested in reading completed work or discussing development opportunities, the best first step is a brief introduction — who you are, what you are working on, and why you think there might be a creative alignment.

The same applies to assignment work and rewrite requests. Beau considers select projects that align with his genre focus and working style. He is not interested in being a script doctor for projects he does not believe in. He is very interested in being the writer who makes a good idea great.
